Night of the Long Knives: Hitler and Bush Demand Loyalty in same way?

Check out this link to read about how Hitler purged the S.A., a national paramilitary group that he saw as potentially disloyal, and dangerous, to himself.

In one night, Hitler rounded up everyone in the S.A. who was disloyal to the Nazi party, and had them killed or "commit suicide". He completely destroyed/marginalized the S.A., giving rise to the infamous S.S.

purge! And the old AG calling the federal judges traitors, kind of gives one the cold chills too! I look for the GOPers to turn on the churches that don't get with their program next! A lot of bad signs that we are headed down the path the Germans traveled! Invading countries! The new AG saying it's just fine to torture prisoners and that the Geneva Convention is "Quaint"! Hardcore GOPers turning on moderate GOPers about the appointment of hard right federal judges! Sending the very two men, Jerry Boykin and John Negroponte, who helped run the South American Death Squads to mop up in Iraq!(stepped up the killing) It reminds me of how Germany controlled rebellion in the countries they overran in Europe and Russia!
