I'm not sure if I'll return
to the store down the street. Let me explain, first the manager is from Iran then he tells me he is for shrub (wife was for Kerry, she to this store.

Okay, the last few nights when I went to the corner store there was this scruffy guy there who praised Kerry who encouraged conversations for Kerry, the last night he was there-- he just disappeared during our conversation.. It was like he just went up in smoke. I've not returned since... something smelled.

Then I decided to visit another store where I know one of the clerks very well, first of all they were out of the item I wanted, and second she said she could not speak to me because we talked about Kerry before..

Something strange is happening in mudville these days!!!!!!!!

You know what?, to be honest, I am afraid. I don't want anyone to get fired because they talk to me because we agree.

You know what? this crap scares me.

2. Kerry conceded, he's a senator now.
If they are still scared, well, I'm flattered.

3. Welcome to bush's america
by the way if I am reading this right, your instincts are correct

The iranians did enforce loyalty to party in many ways, and the owner may just be doing it

Find another proprietor and if they suport shruby go somewhere else

This is the level of fighting they want, and by golly this is exactly what we need to do to starve teh beast and take the back country

If this feels like the prelims of a civil war, you are correct, we have been in a cold one since December 12, 2000 so act accordingly

4. What do you mean "like he just went up in smoke"
... you mean he vanished in front of you, or that was the last evening you saw him at the store?

7. he was there
then all of a sudden he was not there. He just disappeared. I'm not going back there. This was freaky. He looked like he was living on the street. I went through this during the Nixon administration, don't want to go through that again. Just believe John Dean, he is telling the truth. I was active in politics at that time, all I can say is believe John Dean.

10. OMG ! - that is bizarre
I'm with you. I don't think I'd be going back there either. As a matter of fact, I'd avoid walking anywhere near that market.

6. I Got Cut Off Before
I've shifted over $300 in the last week to the Dems in my shopping. If I can do it in Boise, Idaho it can be done anywhere. The consumer drives the store and its profits.
