I suspect this could be popular in a couple of years:
"Don't blame me - I voted for Kerry"
I have never seen one, but I would not be at all surprised if they appear as the Bush mess gets worse.

After the 1972 election, "Don't blame me - I'm from Massachusetts" was very popular. Massachusetts was the only state that cast its electoral votes against Nixon. Nixon was forced from office two years later.

a gent in a pickup truck in front of me -- coffee drinking, cigarette smoking, GOP looking -- and across the back window of the truck's cab was a handwritten sign 'Don't Blame Me, I Voted Democrat'.

6. looking for items

The grassroots Dem organization I am working with needs to stock up on new bumpers and buttons over the next few weeks, as we pick ourselves up and get back out there, and start tabling, voter registration, etc again. (we're a red county in a blue state..go figure)

We generally only get about $1 donated for each item. We're just looking to break even. I love the items at the Cafepress store, but they are unfortunately too pricey for us to afford. Does anyone know of sites that are selling in quantities of 50 or 100, where each item will cost us $1.00 or less to purchase? We'd like to have an assortment of items.

7. unfortunately, cafepress only has bulk discount

for buttons or magnets. you can get 100 buttons or magnets (one design) for $1 each. resale of buttons is usually $2.

if you'd like a custom design for a button/magnet let me know, I'd be happy to donate the time to work up something specifically for you. (I do that for BBV.ORG and have done design for several DUers already)

but, even if I cut my markup to nothing, bumper stickers would still run $2.99 each.

I don't know of a bulk manufacturer of stickers but I'm sure they're out there. do a little googling! good luck!

Nostamj, thanks for your response! I've tried looking for bulk manufacturer of bumper stickers on-line, but unfortunately...like you said, even at cost, they are pricey.
