How Many Are Tuning in to Fox News?
I watched them several hours a day before the election. Haven't tuned in once since the election. Are Democrats still appearing? If they are, they shouldn't, in my opinion. What are the current ratings fo Fox News? Thanks.

6. Have always hated FOX
however, I used to tune in once in a while to get my blood pressure to rise (really more to know what the enemy is thinking, saying, and promoting as news). The sad thing for me is since the election I cannot read the paper or watch any station - he is everywhere and I have not been able to face up to our loss yet so I avoid everything and anything that could lead me face to face with it. I know that is not very constructive but I feel like once I acknowledge it, I will never be the same.

7. No, instead I've been watching "The Great Biker Build-off" lately
... as a hobby, I'm building my own chopper and these shows have been garnering some of my interest lately.

... I won't watch FOX News

8. I watched today...
..I don't usually watch TV, but I wanted something to do while eating. MSNBC and CNN had the murder trial on.

I saw somebody persuasively arguing for reduced dependence on oil rather than drilling for oil in Alaska.

9. So many complaints about the media can be solved by
not tuning in. I never watch Fox, MSNBC and seldom CNN (only because the DH puts it on now and then). I watch local news for the weather and those little notes we need to know.

11. i havent watched for a couple years, too much porn, degrading
women evey chance they get. they talk about values ect........yet whenever they can put a girl strippin or naked or humping a pole they do. one night i had left it on and hear my oldest, about 8 saying gross gross,..... man and woman naked in bed doing something not sure,.........

had it on later the night three stories in a row found a way to degrade women. that night sent email to all on that channel telling them to just own they are a soft porn station. havent turned it on since

and since the election started going there would be no way i could have watched them. i never watched the hannity type shows, and stopped with oreilly, well he was the one that would put the bambi stories of men draggin women by the hair in the desert

so no, no fox for me

and since before the debates i have turned off the other news channel. for two decades have been an obsessive news watcher, now i dont watch any of them

12. Not Me, Since O'WHORELY Was Cut off at the Knees
I used to monitor him, Tony SNOWjob, HUME. Never could stomach HANNITY or any of the rest of them. But even before the election when O'WHORELY (thinks he) resolved his problem, I stopped. Then from the Election on, it was intolerable. On the upside, I'll be able to downgrade the Dish package of a whole tier of channels I never watch.

18. The people who claim they are dems do appear.
I am talking about the pundits. They aren't dems. Higher profile dems do show up, like candidates etc.. I wish they didn't.

19. Dems Should Not Appear
Unless they have a deathwish thing. If the Demspundits refuse to appear, Fox News will die.

14. the did their job
I only watch them to see what is wrong with our country. The last I saw they are just covering the war all the time.
It's not an election year so they aren't putting music to it. But I am at the point that I would much rather watch a movie if the TV is on. So called news is way too depressing.

17. The New York Times Business Section last week...
ran an article on how well Fox News is doing. If you do a search in the New York Times website, you should still be able to find it.

I refuse to watch Fox News. Point.

21. No Conventional News For Me
Edited on Sun Nov-14-04 12:14 AM by proudbluestater
During the election cycle, I had to watch some cable news to watch our guy get beat up on. But never Fox. After the election, I promptly canceled Fox and MSNBC. I am stuck with CNN but won't watch it. I don't watch local news. I do read the local paper and world news I get from the Guardian or BBC or somewhere out of the US.

On my dish I get a great channel called Free Speech TV. On it, among other progressive offerings, is a brilliant news show called Democracy Now. All the stuff the networks WON'T carry is on that show. When they show they Iraq war, they call the troops, The "American troops" (as opposed to that joke the regular media uses of calling them the "coalition troops.") They had Bev Harris from blackbox.org on the other day. They cover world events pretty well, as opposed to the US media which can't be bothered.

Beauty of it is, the network and that show (also shown on Link TV on dish), are supported by funds "from viewers like you!" Just like PBS once was before they started to accept corporate donations. So, they are beholden to NOBODY.
