Democracy for America Group anybody?
Democracy for America has emerged as one of the most vital groupings in the Democratic Party. I'm thinking that a group where we could share our experiences and plans would be a good thing. Does anyone agree with me?

Sounds good to me
I'd like to have this group. I saw that a Wes Clark group was also forming, so I thought why not a forum for us Democracy for America/Howard Dean supporters?

5. Hell yes!!
I'll stand with the good Doctor because Howard Dean has always stood with us. His grassroots organizing is still growing strong and we need to keep the momentum working.

The south can turn blue again - we believe that it's possible. Visualize it, and work to make it happen.

YEEEE HAWWWW!!!

17. Here's a draft mission statement
The Democracy for America group is a place where DFA members and supporters can discuss and share their experiences. We seek to promote progressive values and fiscal responsibilty, continuing the work to revitalize the Democratic Party begun by Howard Dean.

Please add, subtract, multiply as needed. I'm headed home and I'll check back in a little while. Remember, at least ten folks with stars need to agree to go along with this.

They don't have a discussion board on their web site, so I think this would certainly help fill that void.

31. No, the web site is bare minimum.
A lot have been saying that as the group grows, the board must grow...it may. They operate with small staff and small blog.
You do know there is a forum linked at top left of the blog. Not like the old forums though.

32. Just checking in, in case you need more support.
Saw this in Ask The Admins, and thought I'd throw in my 2¢, too. I'm taking a class on the night the local Meetup group meets, but sometime after the first of the year, I hope to get back at going to some of the local DFA meetings, as well.

33. Several of us posted at some Dean sites. However.....
a lot of folks who support Dean as I do will not post at DU. They got tired of the attacks. They just don't come here anymore.

34. True, but...
...a number of those who posted at some other Dean sites have since come back here, especially after finding out that supporting Kerry in the general election made them personae non grata at those places.

I think a lot came around finally, though. Dean was pretty persuasive overall.
