It seem like our latest offensive in Iraq has made Iraq Worse?
Watching on the News Tonight it seems like Iraq is worse than EVER! Fighting has swelled and exploded all over the country since we invaded Fallujah. Which goes to show that the more aggressive we become over their the more upset they become and the bigger the quagmire becomes! If we attack we create more resistance and if we negotiate they play around with us and then keep attacking. It seems like a complete lost cause! We need to get out!

1. Yeah, it's almost as if the more we bomb them,
the more angry they get. Don't they understand why we're there? :eyes:

4. Yes, this was supposed to be the beginning of the end.........
of the war in Iraq. Instead it looks like the end of the beginning. The U.S. is playing a giant game of "whack-a-mole" over there.

5. the * admin's arrogance will ultimately be their downfall
They think they can invade, rape, and loot another nation without consequence. Their own un-ending thirst for power will bring them tumbling to the ground, and unfortunately will take everybody else with them.

22. I heard it on MSNBC tonight, and I'm sure I heard it correctly.
That doesn't mean their numbers are correct.

They went so far as to say that the 1400 did NOT include the 38 killed this month.

The wounded was around 8300.

13. Did Guernica make the Spanish Civil war worse for the Nationalists?
OK, maybe you don't know your history, so let me put it this way: 200+ American dead, 2000+ American wounded, 20,000+ Iraqi dead, 200,000+ Iraqi wounded.

Does antone really think they'll like us MORE now?

23. Not worse. It's just making the reality more clear.
You can defeat a country with military force, but you cannot take it over if the people are against you. Looks like the US is going to be 0 for 2 in guerilla wars.
