1. What I wonder is...
...if they come to a person's neighborhood, at that point, what does it matter to that person what this guy believes in or not?

11. probably not.
but it matters to me. it's a sick thing that shrubco has us twisted up in. Makes it easier for me to humanize at least this one soldier.

3. Ouch. Cousin (Navy jet pilot - fearless type) is furious people voted for
Bush. He goes to Iraq in April. Many at his base think Bush is incompetent and are not happy that they have to put THEIR lives on the line for his incompetent decisions.

14. Plenty of military and especially GOP military men supported Kerry and
are contemptuous of the way George Bush is running the military.

Didn't you ever read John Eisenhower's endorsement of Kerry? That's Ike's son and the writer of seven military books.

Gen. Tony McPeak and many others as well.

Where have you been?

4. This link hasn't worked for me in the past week.
As a dual Canadian/EU citizen who did everything in my power, both here and in Europe, to spread the word about John Kerry, I'M AWAITING MY APOLOGY.

10. If you come to my neighborhood I'll remember it as long as you're
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 06:57 PM by RapidCreek
fighting for Liberty, Freedom and Equality....when you come to my neighborhood with the purpose of subverting Liberty, Freedom and Equality you have become that which you are being payed to protect our nation against. You have become an enemy of the state.

I remember the oath I swore when I enlisted....I took it seriously then and I take it seriously now. I will protect my country against enemies foriegn and domestic....I don't care what uniform those enemies wear, who's orders they are following, or who they voted for. Please remember this.

I not sorry,

RC
