Doesn't Gonzales have a long history of "fixing" Bush's legal problems?
It seems the Dems who question Gonzales should bring up all the little legal matters that Gonzales fixed for Bush, like his driver's license and the legal documents with the Have you ever been arrested box left unchecked (accidently)of course.

Maybe we can get a list going to send to the Senate. At the very least, it can draw some attention to Bush's MORAL FAILINGS and BAD CHARACTER.

It doesn't seem ethical that Bush's longtime fixit lawyer should have the authority to cover up for Bush's ethical failings in his administration.

1. It is much, much worse than that.
He is much more dangerous and smarter than Ashcroft.

He once called the bill of rights "quaint and outdated" and wrote the new rules of engagement for prisons in Cuba and Iraq.

He is a MENACE! We - DU - must stop this man.

2. Is this the same guy....
that was up once before and the nomination was withdrawn? He worked in Justice under Janet Reno. This was a few years ago and Ann Coulter went on a week-long rant about why he was having problems with Congress. It maybe another person.

5. Different guy.
Gonzales is Bush's personal clean up man from Texas.

Imagine the covering up he'll do of the Plame case.

3. Gonzales wrote the plans to scuttle the Geneva Conventions and
for Gitmo. Which finally A Federal Judge has overruled.

The only good thing is that it may leave an opening to have Cheney,
Bush and Company charged with war crimes,

You have to wonder if Bush took him out of one of his father's death squads used in America.

Bill of Rights and Constitution quaint and outdated? gives you a sniff
of where they intend to go.

7. He wrote the briefs for the executions
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 03:53 PM by sandnsea
2-3 page briefs that never included the extenuating circumstances that might lead to a stay. I'm afraid to find out more about him. I'm also afraid they'll focus on the only good thing he ever said, which is that Priscilla Owens was out of the mainstream on abortion, I believe.
