http://www.anysoldier.us/index.cfm

you can go to this site, and give whatever kinda gift you want to the organization, and it gets given randomly to the soldiers that aren't recieving mail. we shouldn't let the freepers think they own patriotism, or that only they support our troops.

P.S- there's no rule saying you can't send them f/911 or Dem Literature...wink wink.

1. I supported our troops by voting against the idiot that put them
into a manufactured war for the benefit of people who considered themselves entitled to our planet. He is still there. It was all I could do. Sorry.

i mean, you dont have to- but it could influence their opinion and maybe the much vaunted 'military vote'

most of them are just 18-22 year old kids who could be influenced a lot by that kinda stuff.

I was turned on to the site my a post on DU a few weeks back. It brought tears to my eyes. I submitted to our HR dept and we're sending out at least 75 boxes next week in hopes we can get there for Christmas. The letters there are heart-wrenching.

7.  I want to know who the Dem soldiers are first!
Does that make me horrible? The way I see it the repugs voted to put themselves and the undeserving Dems in harms way and I won't pander to them. They had a choice!

10. These packages go to a unit, not an individual.

And it's sad, very very sad when you consider and look at the requests and needs. The women just want to feel like women again. Simple things like cleanser, moisturizer, nail polish... deodorant, stuffed animals for Iraqi children. And more than anything- letters from 'home'.

That, I will not let politics or the regime get in the way of..

Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 12:08 AM by Bobbie47
came home from school today saying there are 8 guys from our small

town in Iraqi and for the kids to bring things to school to send to

them. They were going to share with the guys in their troop, or

whatever they are called. Eight guys surprised me.

edit: my daughter in the 6th grade.
