Why no "Loyal Opposition"
Watch Cspan when they cover the meetings with the PM in England, you see
honest, strong debate.

Here not even the Congressional Black Caucus will mount an "in your face" opposition to the Repub juggernaut?

The media may say mandate, Bush may say mandate, but the results don't say mandate. The Dems rolled over in 2000 and got beat badly in 2002. So they're going to roll over again? Become Repub-lite?

It makes me just mad as hell...

1. There have been impassioned standard-bearers for the opposition
including Reps. McDermott of Washington, Waxman of California, and Tim Ryan of Ohio, who have been ignored by the media, or drowned out by the cacophony of * cheerleaders. Others, like Cynthia McKinney of Georgia, were ridiculed, marginalized, and even pushed out.

2. Also mad as hell
but also LOL at the prospect of Bush being subject to "Question Hour."

Dems got soft and forgot that it took the Great Depression and the near failure of this country to get us our most basic rights, and today the Repubs act they gave us sick days and health insurance and vacation pay and overtime rules and workers' comp and unemplyment insurance and ....(you name a workers' right) all out of the goodness of their hearts.

I'm sorry, but we got that stuff b/c capitalism in the US was on its knees, about to fall apart. And we need to get militant again.

Power concedes nothing.
