1. I'm guessing Florida counts as purple since it
was declared "red" although it was more likely "blue." Or how about lilac since it was declared pink but more likely baby blue.

6. I'm from Ohio. I thought we were possibly light blue, or purple but I

Pennsylvania's borderline, but I think it can generally be counted on to vote Democratic in Presidential races.

13. Although it pains me to say: Iowa went purple
The precinct I co-captained went 70% for Kerry -- I'm proud of that. The whole eastern side of Iowa is blue -- I'm proud about that too. I think the other Iowans are being invaded by Nebraska and Kansas folks.

14. sadly.....
I live in Indiana, a Red (neck) state for more than 40 years....my silver lining is that my county (Monroe) was one of the only 3 Blue counties in Indiana! And locally we we're able to get a new majority of Dems on our county council. But (my bitch) Mitch is our new Govenor & Baron Hill was unseated by Scarier than Thou Mike Sodrell in Congress.

Trying hard to make the best of the catastrophe, but it still sucks :(
