Take your next vacation in a blue state!
I've always wanted to go to New England, m'self. Besides, they have plenty of gay-friendly hotels and B&Bs.

In addition to our boycott of Repuke-enabling companies, why not support those blue states whose tax monies already get sucked up by red states? From now on, I'm vacationing BLUE! :)

2. Looking at Oregon, myself
Thought we'd come out, do some rafting, tromp through the rainforest, visit some of the microbreweries - boosting blue-state small businesses all the while. Works for me!

7. I'm with you there.
When I go on a vacation, I want to be able to relax. Hard to do that in a culturally uptight red state.

9. Chicago is BEAUTIFUL this time of year!
They have all the holiday lights up. Marshall Fields has their Xmas windows up (Snow White this year), go in Marshall Fields "Walnut Room" to have lunch or dinner and see their giant tree. Gorgeous! Then, go to Michigan Avenue for a walk through Water Tower, or a stroll along the stores. Then, go down to the lake, Navy Pier or Millenium Park. There's so much to do in the city and it REALLY is BEAUTIFUL at Xmas time. Well, it's beautiful all year round, but especially at holiday time. ;) :hi:

AND, 88% of Chicagoans voted Dem! :loveya: (That is the last figure "I" saw)

12. Yeah, The Art Institute, Field Museum, Museum of Science and Industry
The Shedd Aquarium...just wonderful. Just doing the museums for a vacation is great! Soldier Field (until they RUINED it. Now looks like a flying saucer :( UGLY, UGLY, UGLY!) and Wrigley Field (awesome Baseball park). It really is a great city.
