Bush must not be allowed a Legacy
After having stolen the first election, and having won a fishy second election, he will now be focused on building a legacy. Most of his first term was about getting relected..screw the Reagan Democrats, just secure your base and make sure EACH ONE of their votes count. Apparently that did the trick.

Remember Bush didn't run on accomplishments. He ran on fear, issues that appealed only to his base, and the portrayal of his opponent as a totally unacceptable alternative. Despite that he managed to acquire only a 3% majority, including tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of bogus votes.

His second term will be about legacy building. What-ever it takes, it MUST NOT HAPPEN. Personally I would like to him facing impeachment charges by late 2007

8. Reagan just got LUCKY
his policies didn't lead to WWIII though we came periously close. His theory was if it DID happen, there would be no need for a legacy, but if it didn't, it was already made.

6. Reagan got "ending cold war" and no one talks about HUD
or Air Traffic Controllers.

So....I'm sure he will "end terra". But we won't hear about social security destroyed, environment ruined.

Prepare for the worst.

7. His legacy
will be a quagmire in Iraq, an economy on the brink and a time when idiots ruled the country. In other words.. a dark time.

9. He doesn't care--and it will happen because he will make it happen
He will invent his legacy and it will all be accepted by the ditto heads as real,. There will be no charges against him and we may even look toward another Bush in the future. I suspect Jeb's son or even Jenna. Anything can be packaged and sold as we have seen a incompetant idiot being packaged and sold.

that sounds negative, but I am certain the Bush legacy will be just that--packaged and sold, just as it always has been since he was Gov.of Texas, and it will be promoted and Bush, the stupid worst president ever, will be touted as a genius. He may even get to be on a coin or two.

That is the way of the rich and priveledged and powerful.

11. Why so late for impeachment?
There is a ton of evidence now to impeach him. Even Repuke reps can't be allowed to forget these things. We have the power to push them to do this. We have to stand united. We are the mob and they need to fear us because we are who keep them in power.

12. His people will write his legacy.. We will write ours, of him../

It will be dueling legacies.. Only time will tell which will be THE one that sticks..

The papers of Reagan/Bush1/Bush,the lesser may NEVER see the light of day.. That period 81-92 and 01-08 will be the "unknowable era".. Probably the "juicy parts" have all been excised by now, but I don;t see them being let out anytime soon.

13. It would be a lot more satisfying..

..to see him RESIGN in his second term, all disgraced, rather than watch him step down with dignity after losing an election

I see the second term as a great oppurtunity that we didn't have in the first term when everyone's attention was on the war against Al Qaeda and the quagmire in Iraq.

This man needs to be humiliated, disgraced and kicked out of office.

14. That Nixon photo made me think of
his legacy. He was the butt of jokes until he died. May Bush follow in his footsteps.
