By the slimmest of margins, Democrats claimed the most political chamber switches of the night. Based on unofficial results, the Democrats won the Colorado House, Colorado Senate, Montana Senate, North Carolina House, Oregon Senate, Vermont House, Washington Senate. In the case of the Colorado and Washington chambers, the margin of victory is only one seat, and recounts are expected in several districts"

We got seats to tie in other chambers...

3. Yes yes yes!!! I'm telling you people it will happen...
MT has a Dem gov b/c they wised up to the idiot last time (20% approval rating). I really think America will wise up. The news is not good - heating costs rising, American's flocking to Canada for healthcare. I believe people (not the freaky fundies) will demand moderate government!!!

sorry for the rant - too much coffee!

4. We also got more votes for U.S. Senate than they did...
by a margin of 41,029,835 (52%) to 37,752,369 (%48) not counting third parties. I got the numbers from http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/results/senate/full.list/ and used a spread sheet to total them.
