I plan on becoming involved with a draft resistance organization next year (because there will be a need for them), but I'm not too excited about the notion of helping out some bush supporter who now regrets his stupid vote. What to do? What to do? I think I have a solution. A draft resistance organization that focuses exclusively on young African Americans. I could be pretty certain that I would be helping young men who very likely did not cast a vote for the current squatter. And those conscripted bush supporters? I'm sure they will figure out something.
their little frontal lobes are not gelled yet. Long range consequences and judgement may be impaired up into 25 years of age. I'm Vietnam era so I know how young men can be misled and herded into the truck with dreams of fifes and drums. They are still our kids even wrong-headed though they be. (Of course, some are just plain idiots...) Thanks for the work you intend to do. I am afraid I agree that there will be need for it.
