4. That guy is an ass.
I'm crying here--I'm so mad. I have children who work with homeless families and this guy is so arrogant. I VOTED so those children could have a voice. They have no homes, no decent schools, no health care and now, they have NO hope. Why does no one care about them?????

7. Some of us care
But the Republicans only see what effects them. They are completely egocentric. I'm sorry for the children. :(

5. i can't stand that man
he's one of the reasons i find myself turning AAR off. if i needed to hear rushbots, i'd listen to rush.

the other day, franken's friend gloated about the bush victory and if i'd been in the room i would have cussed him out like i have NEVER gone verbally apesh*t on someone before.

6. Actually, it's quite good to keep him on the show...
Regardless of how many Freepers we have in our own lives, Airamerica listeners should always be reminded of the extremist mindset and how when approached with logic, they turn away.

8. Finally, someone besides me "get's it"
Al doesn't have the guy on to be fair and balanced. He destroys him every day. It's a good thing.

12. It also helps show listeners how to respond to these talking points...
when they encounter them. Al is always up on his numbers and facts, usually more than his friend is.

9. Proposed invasion of Religious Right
All Homeless, sick, elderly and needy should go to the churches on Sunday. and not leave. Go to churches in wealthy areas.

Move in. force the red state zealots to help them. not just pretend anymore. Organize bus loads from the cities and go to the red counties and invade their churches.

Go to corporate buildings and start daycare and work sights. Start showing the religious and corporate folks the price of supporting them.

Let's bankrupt the radical right.

No more freebies. No tax exempt status for churches. As Arnold might say, "They are tax cheaters"

We need to make them pay for this.

Free America

13. It's excruciating
but in a way, Al having Mark on helps all of us to learn how to talk to stupid dittoheads.

Al gets too frustrated with Mark, though. (Understandably)

I would have liked to hear him take up that issue of whether it's the US's responsibility or "place" to worry about children dying of malnutrition elsewhere in the world. THAT was the whole point, and Al got frustrated and stopped short of making it.

The point is: If we are going to talk about MORALITY, let's talk. Do the freepers know what happens to those children Al was talking about if the funding for the rehydration thing is cut? They suffer and die. CHILDREN SUFFER AND DIE. And Mark's rationalization was, "It's not our job."

THAT, folks, is a moral issue. If alleviating the suffering of children who are dying of malnutrition and thirst is not worthy of the attention of the people who live in the wealthiest nation on earth, then we can't possibly call ourselves moral.

16. Is this guy for real or is he getting paid to pretend to be a dittohead?
I can't see a real conservative prick wanting to be on a liberal radio show everyday.
