Poll question: What would it take to get * to can Ashcroft
(after his "boost the Patriot2" tour)

Bonus: one of these options is alleged to have already happened... do you know which one?

Feel free to suggest additional options...

W ever dump him?

3. Ashcroft's belief that all he does is sanctioned "By God"
leads him to overstep from time to time. At what point does he overstep in a way that he becomes a political liability?

4. Hasn't this one happened?
Ashcroft revives a very unpopular citizen spy program that was axed due to negative PR

Or has he not yet blessed the Guardian Angel 'Number of the Beast' technology?

9. I voted for #1, because CA is already so infuriated with
ASSkroft and the Justice Department for their medical marijuana raids and their persecution and harassment of those involved that something like that might just tip the balance in favor of either not recalling Davis or voting for Bustamante or another Dem. And Shrub and the repukes have had their eyes on CA for some time, especially since it's so important in the 2004 election. They've wanted to put in a GOP guv, which is what they're trying to do with the recall.

BTW, #2 is the one that's already happened!

10. Don't know if it would work with Ashcroft
but veterans have a call and write-in campaign to senators and bush to get rid of Rumsfeld - know Rumsfeld is Defense but he is really putting the screws to the veterans and they're very angry.

11. One has the bonus question on the nose
the others are closely related to real news stories and events (I didn't realize how close when I wrote the questions) so kudos for being so keen. And while I wrote one question that I initially had in mind as the #1 thing that he could do to get his butt bounced... I had to change my mind by the time I voted - because one of these by implication - just might (ever so briefly) immobilize the WH, imo.
