Truman mean vs. McCarthy mean.
I'll take Truman mean any day. Give 'em hell with the truth.

McCarthy mean? That's for the likes of Limbaugh and Coulter. Coulter should be thanked for embracing McCarthy. Thanks to her we now know what kind of mean the GOP "immoderates" favor.

3. MCCARTHY WAS A RACKETEER.
He had 12 members of his family on his senatorial payroll. They dumped him not necessarily because of philosophical or political difference but because he was an embarrassement who was approaching bringing the house down on their own rackets. Not much difference between then and today.
