MSNBC poll: Dems for Prez - Do any have a shot?
One of the most poorly worded questions I've seen lately.

http://www.msnbc.com/news/778726.asp?0cm=c20

I think a better question will be if W will have a chance at reelection by the time 11/04 rolls around. Yeesh.

FWIW, right now it's 58% yes, 42% no.

1. Kind of sets you up to think, nope, doesn't it?
They may not get the polling numers they want, but the net effect of keeping sing voter off the Dem track was well conceived and articulated in this poll question. Good work MSNBC, ya friggin' admin lapdogs...

6. May not be a surprise by then
if W & pals are going down in flames. I'm just wondering how many times we're going to hear "gassed his own people" and "ruthless dictator" in the next 14 months. Because they don't seem to have much more to run on other than having cut taxes.

3. I responded!
And sent back the little "What do you think of today's question?" bit.

I answered that perhaps they should have asked this: "After all of Bush's lies concerning Iraq, deos he stand a chance in 2004?"

Or, better yet, this: "Online Polls-Do any of them have a clue?"

Looks like they're coming fast and furious but the results are holding pretty steady.

12. Poorly Worded Questions....
.... that's how they "getcha". Ambiguously worded questions that have multiple interpretations.

The published "results" can be easily skewed to suit the opinions of those doing the publishing or the asking.

That's why all polls are BULLSHIT.
