could division between moderate and conservative Repukes in
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 11:30 PM by pstokely
Blue and swing states give Dems an advantage for taking the house and senate in 2006, Dennise Moore beat wingnut Kris Kobach in a district with a majority of registered Repukes

2. The neo-cons are the enemy of both
Seek alliance with moderate Repubs to drive them from power.

3. Not in 2006. Perhaps later.
There's definitely a division in the party.

4. Not Until The BBV Is Solved...I'm With Malloy On This One...
If BBV is allowed with no paper trail...then we are SOL.

5. I've been wondering.
There are sane, patriotic Republicans who are beginning to gag on the fascist horror that is George.

6. YES!
I remember glancing over an article saying if * won, there could/would be a civil war within the Rethug party.

7. Not an advantage, necessarily.
But we could make significant gains.

Chafee is a Repulican who is thinking about switching parties.

8. Yes-- sanity will prevail. Right? RIGHT?
Maybe not in 2006, but definitely soon, when thousands of Americans have died in Iraq, the economy is stagnant, abortion is up (more abortions are performed during Republican presidencies), the deficit is out of control, eventually some of the moderate Republicans will say to themselves, "Hmmm.... I guess it's good that gay people aren't marrying each other, but I don't know if it's worth it... Especially since gay people are still falling in love, making commitments and having children...."

10. Kobach ran a very slimy race.
Even Kansas Republicans wound up disliking him, I think.
