I will never tune into Hardball or CNN again. I promise. I can live without them. No news is really good news.

1. I haven't turned on the TV all day
I plan to avoid it as much as possible from now on.

20. Still at work and in shock
I still can't believe this and have NO intention of wathcing any news tonight. If I see or hear * I may loose it.

I'll watch Lost and maybe the Daily Show.

3. I've had Air America
on all day. I think the only tv I watch in the near future will be light trash (Lost, etc.)

4. Yes..an important lesson
I didn't watch one moment of TV except for Daily Show...It's actrually been quite a long time since I gave up the pundit/talk shows...it is much easier without their nonsense

5. I second that
I've had the tv off the entire day. I did hear Kerry's concession speech on the radio. I turned the radio on wanting to listen to music and there it was. I cried when he talked about wanting to embrace everyone that helped him. I wish some miracle would happen and he could be our president.

6. I agree ....
... I'm tired of web logging, emailing, phone calling ... etc .... let the blind-faith-based freeper families send their young into war .... I don't really care any more ....

7. I think that if I watched any media today, I would be far more upset
than I already am... living in a house with ignorant, ill-informed, fear-sucking repukes is a bad enough punishment in itself, as I'm not in a place to vehemently speak my mind on their stupidity and how they've just sewn themselves up in their own burial shroud by supporting *.

May God have mercy on their souls because I do not.

8. Won't listen either. In fact, it is time to get rid of Direct TV
Might as well batten down the hatches....
I would have kept Direct TV if K/E had been elected because I would have known things were going to get better.

10. The food network is the best answer
it is calming and can make you forget your troubles. Cooking can be very healing during hard times for me. Other times it is just a pain in the butt!

12. I too am thinking about cancelling cable....
. . . except I need COMEDY CENTRAL!! I listed to AAR all day, which was comforting, but I've had it with mainstream media. Tonight I'm going to make a list of all the things I am going to change in my life now (no tv, no wasting time reading tabloids, less consumerist behavior, etc.)

13. I haven't watched today and I won't ever again!
I think their audiences will be greatly reduced! Let them worry about their bottom line since that seems to be the only thing they care about, certainly they don't care about the truth.

15. ???

I'm surprised any of you watch TV at all. As far as I'm concerned it's a poisoned medium. If there are TV proggrammes you like, you can usually just buy the DVD box set... :-)

16. I'm with you on that
Only ones I'll watch are Keith Olbermann if he stays true and of course Jon Stewart.

The rest can continue to kiss *'s butt as far as I'm concerned.

For radio I'll continue to listen to those lone voices in the wilderness who tell us the truth. AAR better stick around. And we damn well better get some more liberal media on the air.

Now since the Repugs and fundies own it all I damn well hope their talking heads implode as they watch their President continue to lead this country in to the toilet. Who do they have left to kick around?

I'm going to catch up on cleaning my house, reading my books and watching entertainment shows.

To read "Bush wins". I don't think I will ever accept, or get over, 2000 and especially 2004.

23. Watch Keith Olbermann
Being a jock, white and wealthy, he probably is a repugnantcan, but I find him to be fair. The rest of MSGOP can go to hell. How any of you watch the Fascist News Channel is beyond me. I won't have the telly on, because I can't bear to watch them all gloat.
