6. If she does ...
I will change my registration to Independent, and I will never vote for another Democrat again.

Hillary is too polorizing (much like AWOL). Everyone has a very strong opinion about her.

Cheers
Drifter

3. I Hope Not
We seriously need to gain ground. The divisiveness of the Clinton legacy is not something we can afford. Nor can we cede Senate Seats in the hopes of the White House. Go Dean !!!

5. Probably
the real question is how will she run?
Third way or Progressive?

I think if she moves leftward to where she was in 92, she could have a chance.

10. What in the fuck does she have to offer...Nothing! Just republican noise
Edited on Wed Nov-03-04 04:15 PM by LaPera
and bullshit tactics.

How long have the republicans been saying Hillary's running...and they will continue to...it gets them money and voters. Just like abortion does.

Hillary hit her peak as Senator...I'm a very liberal progressive from N CA and I would NEVER vote for her for president.

I've sent her money to run for senator, and that's it.

She's far too fucking conservative for my taste.

13. You know what? The Repubs are going to be working on flattening
her before she even gets a chance. They're going to try to neutralize her in the 2006 race.

15. If people are so backwards that they voted for Bush
how can you possibly think that a woman - any woman - would stand the slightest chance of being elected? After what happened yesterday?

This isn't the way I feel, but look at what has just happened. It's just not realistic, if you wish to get a Democrat into the White House. Ideology is great, but at this point in history in America, a woman will not be elected President.

In fact, it looks like half the damn voters in the country would like to have all women locked up in the house. I just can't see all the fundies racing out in 2008 to vote for Hilary Clinton, no matter how well qualified she might be for the job. So a lot more very progressive Dems will have to be created or come out of the woodwork, or a different choice of candidate would have to be made.
