From 2009 onward, this country will never again have a Republican President. Wait and see.

1. That is very possible.

The only bright side in this election is that Bush is going to have to deal with ramifications of his screw-ups.

He can't put them off forever. He's pretty much screwed in Iraq, especially with his unwillingness to face reality.

He might make his first term look like a cakewalk.

3. I think that's possible.

In fact, a lot of Moderate Republicans didn't want him reelected for just that reason. They feel that given the arrogance of this Administration and the fact they are lame duck they will go all out on a right wing binge and really turn off Moderates in droves. We will all have to suffer but maybe that is what needs to happen.
