Jobs listings in Canada?
So I checked the Canadian Immigration website and my husband and I have the employment skills on the list.
Yep, we're going. We'll keep our US citizenship so we can vote, (and we will continue to vote against Repubicans) but we've had it with this place. The people here have lost their minds and worse, our democracy. (Except you all, and thanks....you have kept me sane.) We don't want to raise our beautiful daughter here. We live in a red area of California, and we don't even want to live among these people or have her go to school with them.
I'm actually feeling good about it. A brand new start. We're ready.
So I'm hoping there might be someone out there who has some good sites to search for jobs in Canada. (We are in the GIS field if that helps.) Also, for any Canadians: Which parts of Canada are more progressive? We sure don't want to move away from here just to end up surrounded by conservatives again.
Thanks for the help.

2. Jobs

Here's a start...there are many more

http://www.monster.ca/

Do not move to Alberta, or the more rural parts of BC. They have large Bible belts, and are very conservative. They also both have a small separatist movement that wants to join the US.

Ontario is your best choice, for both jobs, and tolerance, and is solidly Liberal. Fastest growing province in terms of population and diverse economically.

The City of Toronto has 4 million people.

And in spite of propaganda otherwise on here, Canada welcomes new people, and Americans are unlikely to have any problems.

If you have a job, your employer will also help you get in.

5. Another Canadian job site...
http://www.workopolis.com/

We went to Vancouver on vacation last summer just to check things out, and we're defintely moving. No matter who won, we knew we would end up in BC eventually. Four more years of Bush means it'll happen sooner, is all. Our property is already on the market.
