After this election, I was hoping I could breathe again
Now I feel like I can't breathe at all

1. I've been out of work for slightly more than a year
and my choices are limited due to the particular hell called "partially disabled."

I now have no hope.

I suppose I'll live as long as my money does.

2. Same here, bud... same here...
... we all just gotta take a moment to let this sink in and then get back out there and keep fighting the good fight.

4. But yesterday I breathed for a few hours because I remembered how.
I've felt nothing but a dark cloud and a general sadness to life, even during happy moments, since the coup of 2000. Yesterday, I allowed myself to remember what the Clinton years felt like, because it seemed like we might feel them again soon. We were on the brink. My 5-year-old had not seen me smile like that since he was a 1-year-old.

To have come so close was utter cruelty, and I'm not sure I know who to blame or how. But yesterday there was a glorious few hours!

5. No sense blaming the victims
They are still busy hurting themselves. It is the Bush/Cheney clique and a few others. The second tier is craven opportunists. The third is well placed dupes.

What exactly are these rules they made up for King of the Mountain that we have to lie down and take this?
