War should not be made on the backs of the poor and disadvantaged.

1. Shouldn't need a draft
This country should never need a draft. We should fight all wars because they are justified. We would have every volunteer we could ask for if that were the case.

2. If you support the war, you should support the draft.
And America supports the war.

4. That is a funny joke "No-Exceptions draft"
Yeah...sure. That's gonna happen. The Richie Riches will get country club duties, while the poor minorites will go out and fight their daddies' blood fueds.

5. I imagine then you're among the draftable???
Because if you're not, stop blowing self-righteous smoke up everyone's ass.

Being involved in the veterans' movement against this "war", I can honestly say that war is not something I would ever seek to expose people to, regardless of the political "greater good" that someone tried to tell me would come out of it.

War destroys lives, PERIOD. Given that little fact, we should seek to only commit our troops to war in the event that it is completely and utterly unavoidable.

6. I take it you don't have draft-aged children.

Actually, my son is only 13, but I have two draft-aged brothers.

Ideology is easy when it doesn't cost you anything.

(forgive me if I'm wrong about your status as somebody who wouldn't particularly suffer from a draft)

7. Bush's plan
drive up the poverty rate, so that the poor have no choice but jail or the military
