My experience holding a Kerry sign at a very bush poll in TN

OK overall it was very good lots of thumbs up and "good for you girl " (because this is VERY bush area that i was doing it at and i was the ONLY Kerry person there) i had a couple of thumbs down and one guy who did his hand like a gun pretending to shoot me but over all it was GREAT!! i got very pumped up about all the great responses i got there (till my hubby called me fussing because i was out in the rain when I'm suppose to be laying down because of my back )
it was so good to see how in such a bush place all these people who support Kerry
just had to share my story of today
eta: that there were 2 very rude VERY rude bush supporters there though ... one wouldn't stand on the same side of the street as me because i was holding a Kerry side and just kept making these rude comments... i had a republican who was running for alderman comment on how nicely i was handling myself all day
the other one was this brain washed wanna be bad ass who kept spewing the same old crap like "flip flopper" "bush was good for our security" and said that i shouldn't say anything about politics since i haven't fought in a war .... augh... but i stood my ground all by myself but i was very proud of myself so i thought i would share :)
