October Surprise?

Of course we we’re all surprised to see Osama bin Laden looking tan, rested and ready rather than Team Bush unveiling him on Fox chained to a wall.

But the October surprise I had was when I went door to door in my neighborhood yesterday with fellow Democrats. I live in Prospect Park which has been a Republican stronghold in the suburbs of Philadelphia for decades. I was excited to find out that the majority of my neighbors were voting for Kerry. It’s made me feel energized and optimistic about the coming showdown on Tuesday.
