First ques: How did the surfacing of the Osama tape benefit you, or influence the election. Some people say it is damaging to you because it reminds citizens that you did not catch Osama.

Answer---He will NOT influence this election....we are destroying his network....We will get him eventually. (?)

Second ques: Rudy blamed the troops in Iraq for the disappearance of the explosives...should he have done that?

Answer, after alot of squirming around: I never blame our troops in the field. I'll be glad to blame myself, I made the decision to put troops into Iraq. (blame himself?)

Third ques: If you knew then what you know now, (no WMD, etc etc) would you make the decision to go to war again?

Answer, after much evasion: Tom, I've never known you to be a Monday morning quarterback! Much talk about Saddam being, evil, finally, yes it was the right decision.

Brokaw: The president also denied ever saying to Pat Robertson that there would be no casualties...said the conversation never took place.

Rove/Bush MO from day one. The question was that Cheney said that if he had it to do all over again he would do EXACTLY THE SAME THING, and would Bush do the exact same thing. Bush after the Monday morning quarterback remark says that we are better off without Sadam, blah blah blah.

In a few years, regardless of Tuesday's outcome, I predict that Americans will come to the conclusion that in fact we would have been better off with Sadam. This thin is spinning out of control and I don't know if a Kerry Presidency with a Dem House and Senate can salvage it.
