whether or not the numbers include cell users or not is irrelevant- diebold just has to press a few buttons and -presto- reality matches the predictions of novak and the rest and bush suddenly has a last minute surge of 3-4 points

i personally thnk we have a huge majority right now, but since it's never showed up in the polss, no one will realize just how big the theft is

i'm very, very worried about this

5. oh my god visualization won't help against Dielbold!
I share the concern, and closing my eyes and grinning happily isn't going to make the impending corruption go away.

6. You aren't alone. BUT...
This can't be done from one central national location. It has to be done to state servers.

Bush doesn't have the support in the states that he used to. Governors starved for federal funds are forced to raise taxes and look bad. Also, their Guard troops aren't available for state emergencies which also makes the governors look bad. Quite a few of those boys are kowtowing in public and thinking to themselves how their own positions improve if George goes bye bye. Note how few Republicans up for election are appearing with George. The coveted photo op ain't coveted.

In choosing to protect corporations over the nation, he has put these governors in the position of explaining to their states why jobs are leaving, why they don't have flu shots, or money for unemployment or education.....George has left the governors to twist slowly, slowly in the wind. And some of them think they could be much better presidents, too.

So will there be tampering? From Diebold? You betcha. Will it be everywhere? I don't think so. For another thing, a governor who may need a crooked machine for his own re-election will NOT want the machine discredited NOW. Better for it to be honest this year and crooked later.

I just mention these things. It's a cruel, but sometimes pitilessly practical world.

7. Diebold/ES&S etc. Can do it All in Software
Edited on Sun Oct-31-04 04:31 PM by AndyTiedye
The "certification" process (when they even bother to do it) doesn't
look at the source code. That's proprietary. Nobody gets to see it.
They just verify that it appears to count votes when they test it.
Malicious code could function properly in tests but steal votes on
Election Day. This requires no cooperation on the part of the state
government.

There is also more glaring vote theft, like touch-screen machines
that switch straight Democratic ticket votes to Bush, as we have seen
numerous reports of in early voting. Those will cost us thousands of votes since not all voters will discover the switch in time.

8. NOT THIS TIME-
This country is going to elect John Kerry as it's 44th President, and he will have 277 Electoral votes, and maybe more but with the public turned more so towards Kerry, Not this time will the Repubs take this one away. You want to see a country come apart at the seams then let the gop try to surpreme court us this time....No WAY!!!
