www.electoral-vote.com Kerry 283 / Bush 246
Happy Halloween! Blessed Samhain! :)

I know they go back and forth according to the latest polls. What I am excited about is that we picked up several states that were previously "weak-bush". Also keep in mind that the polls are skewed in favor of bush, because they are only calling old dinosaurs with land-lines. All those weak/barely Bush states will probably go to Kerry.

I'm going out and getting a big bottle of champagne for tuesday night. :)

10. How so?
NH only has 4 electoral votes. The whole state consists of bikers, cheap booze/cigarettes, tourist traps, and corporate executives from Massachusetts trying to escape paying state income tax. I say let the Libertarians have it, and start their little "Republic of Gidea" Then we'll have a hellhole to ship miscreants like Rush and Anne Coulter to.

Err, sorry... I grew up there... ugh.

12. Uh ... great analysis
You miss the entire south eastern part of the state, which is very liberal. The corridor along Route Three from Nashua to Manchester to Concord, excluding the bedroom communities like Bedford, is also moderate-left, with a big bonus for the large hispanic community in Nashua and Salem. Furthermore, the majority of Mass ex-pats are working families who have been priced out of the Boston market and are coming here where they can actually afford to buy a house. Without a doubt, NH will be blue in 2004.

13. True..
I guess I am judging from the Milford NH area where my mom lives, and unpleasant memories of being a NH denizen during the late 80's early 90's.

11. With non-partisan gov-nuh Jeb's hand in the Florida results
I would not be so certain how the sunshine state casts its electoral votes, especially with sec'y of state Glenda Hood's purely dissmissive attitude towards the possibility that tampering could be a problem with e-voting.

On that map, unfortunately Florida will make all the difference between win or lose.
