Hello, Eminem was using and echo effect and his own voice as the chorus
Edited on Sat Oct-30-04 11:22 PM by Melodybe
he does it all the time, it is not the same as Ashley.

So stop it now.

The biggest fucking rap star in the world just told the whole world what a piece of shit Bush is.

Kerry in a Landslide!

4. Are you trying to slam on Eminem for trying to make this performance more
powerful, I like every second, he wasn't hiding anything and he meant every freaking word.

Eminem has grabbed an important place in history, noone of the people watching at home will forget it.

That is all that matters.

6. Nope. I think Mosh is a great service to us.
He still lip-synched it.

13. I think so too, and it would be just like him to do that to make a
point.

I'm disappointed in SNL for slamming Ashlee in almost every skit, considering they knew damn well what her performance would be, and considering it was very likely their sound man that screwed up.

5. Please! There's no point being in the reality-based community if
we're going to pretend that wasn't lip-syncing

10. At least he did it properly
Didn't do a false start and then blame it on his band. No "acid reflux" excuses here.

11. The miracles of TiVO
yes he was lipsyncing, and he's not very good at it.
However, he is an exceptionally talented rapper, and lyricist. I hate his genre of music, but I recognise his talent and applaud him for it. I also really like the way he wrote Mosh, and the video rocks. I still don't think its music, its more like 21st century Poetry, only cool.

15. He made it SO obvious that he was lip syncing
He dropped the microphone from his mouth and stopped moving his lips, yet the words kept on coming. I thought it was pretty slick. It made quite a comment too, IMO.

19. that was my instinct.
because it is so fucking lame to attack Ashlee when everyone except maybe Mariah Carey and Xtina lip-sync or use backing tracks, expecially the women that dance so much, like Janet, Madonna and expecially Britney. Ashlee is no less talented than any of them, I think this is an industry wide thing.

16. Most lip-synch
on shows like that. You can tell when someone is doing it if they hold their hand over the mic, and practically eat the mic at the same time.

17. YES, he had his own voice pre-recorded, NO he wasn't lip synching
he was RAPPING LIVE with his own recording as a background

that's how he records ALL HIS ALBUMS

it makes his voice resonate and sound more powerful

END OF STORY

20. Yep
I don't care what people are saying... He lip-synced Mosh. I understand that some artist use "click" or backing vocal tracks that they sing over to make thier voice sound more powerful, but the version of Mosh he "performed" was the studio version.

22. Yep, that's what I heard too
there was a second where he pulled the mic away as he was still singing, and other mics on the stage caught his single voice. The self made chorus and backup was necessary to the song.

Besides, people don't spit when they're strictly lip-syncing!
