And I am a Christian.

Sorry, but I am watching CNN and these FUCKs think if you don't agree with them you shoud not exist.

In my Christian beliefs,I will gladly not exist with you,no matter how far that will go.

8. Absolutely! And this idea that Christianity is the only way
is precisely what the fundamentalist Muslims think! And our misleader believes we should kill all of those who don't believe as he does.

There's no damn difference in Christians who think it's alright to kill for their religion than the Taliban, et al.

15. Please just tune them out....Yes they are ignorant...but they are pathetic
too. They waste their lives and their minds to conform to a biblical perception that was appropriate 2000 years ago I'm a Christian too (and gay). I don't hate southern baptists (many of them don't believe the bullshit, just like many Catholics use birth control and think the pope is insane).

But we shouldn't hate them. Pity, instruct and try to serve as models of how sincere, educated adults behave for them.

Those FUCKS on CNN shouldn't exist. I don't know how they do or why, but I suspect it's to remind the rest of us what utter insanity looks and sounds like.

I also am a Christian and until this year, I attended church regularly. This year, I had to stop attending church because of the politics.

One Sunday last winter when the pastor was going on about Sodom and Gomorrah and homosexuality, I actually got up and walked out the center back doors that let lots and lots of daylight in the darkened room.

It infuriates me that so-called Christians think it is okay to discriminate against a whole group of people. :grr:

18. Of course.
I don't want anyone telling me who I can love or what I do in my privacy of my bedroom. I think a judgmental, sanctimonious attitude is what is Unchristian!!!

21. Or in my case, cousins and friends.
A cousin finally got the chance to marry her partner of almost 30 years.

4 of us, including a straight couple, a lesbian, and a bisexual, rang bells for 40 minutes in honor of the first couple to marry after the decision.

One young friend is currently a theater arts major at a college in Richmond VA. The day after, (on break back in Boston) she was talking with some of her fellow students, who were local to the school. They asked about the riot to call a halt to the "nonsense", that they assumed were happening. They were shocked to hear about City Hall's opening up at midnight, to issue licenses, judges opening their courtrooms early to waive the normal waiting period, and the "block party" outside of Cambridge city hall, celebrating the occasion.

Oh yea, when they natter on about activist judges, you can point out that the judge that issued the decision was appointed by a republican.
