Fasten your seatbelts Dean supporters, were in for a long bumpy ride
straight to the top!

"In more than two dozen interviews, experts said they expect the Democratic primary fight to turn nasty as eight rivals try to halt Dean's rise."

and...

"Right now, you have five serious Democrats trying to point out what his vulnerabilities are," she said. "It's five against one..."

Are you ready? :kick:

6. 8 candidates are going to lose
none of them are losers. If Dean gets beat he won't be a loser either.

4. I'm armed (with new laptop) and ready!
Joined the Dean Rapid Response team last week and am going to be the primary host for Norwich, CT Dean Meetup starting this Wednesday. I've been busy downloading Dean's speeches onto my brand new Compag laptop, which I'll be using at the Meetups and any other meetings I can get people to organize.

12. I spent my whole birthday, which was on Friday, Aug 29, doing press
releases for the Sep 3 Dean Meetup and calling the media outlets to make sure they got them and personally invited them to come. Howard's brother, Jim, is coming to speak at our Meetup, and used his visit to promote our fledgling group. I even chatted with the reporter from one of the papers. I think he'll be there Wednesday night.

I'm on vacation this upcoming week also. Busy working on the house and while I'm doing that, downloading Dean speeches onto my laptop.

Am I excited? That's an understatement.

14. Well, Happy Birthday, Larkspur! And what a fantastic way to
spend your birthday!

The Dean Meetups all across our Country are going to be rustling with excitement and stupendous amounts of energy this Sept 3rd!

Can't wait to hear about yours, too! I would like to hear what his brother has to say!

5. Well...
...every potential attacker has to carefully weigh how they go about it, else they'll end up coming off as shrill and obsessive as a Freeper Clinton hater (see: several of the 'habitual Dean bashers' on this forum, no need to mention names) or worse, they'll just boost his name recognition.

I'm not particularly concerned with it. I think the entire field could stand to see a little less sniping, and a little more outlining of policy and attacks upon the Bush regime...

7. for me it's too early for the in fighting
and in this election in particular the focus needs to stay on bush. i hope the candidates see that.

10. what I like best about dean is he is organized.
now if he can just work on the message thing, he has to remember he is not going to get the bush treatment, he's going to get the same going over that gore got. he's got to dot the I's and cross the T's.

13. I'm not worried about Dems vs Dean now.
Believing he's going to get the nomination, media and Rove will be screaming "gay marriages", and "surveys show most Americans oppose gay marriages", etc. We know that in VT he signed the bill giving equal rights for civil unions, but they will turn it into "gay marriages". That one "issue" that they will create is going to make it very tough. Dirty bastards in the media and Rove will spend all their $200M on that one issue. Stupid public will be made to believe that Dean will be be pushing it.

15. yep.
what an interesting election. It's such a change from the last one. Dean surely will give Bush a run for his money if nomimnated.

16. Maybe this should be the Doc's new campaign song?
Lyrics by Eddie Vedder

One, two, three, four, five against one
Five, five, against one
Said one, two, three, four, five against one
Five, five...five, five...five against one

Torture from you to me
Abducted from the street

I'd rather be...
I'd rather be with...
I'd rather be with an animal

Why would you wanna hurt me, oh
Oh, so frightened of your pain...yeah...ooh...

I'd rather be...
I'd rather be with...
I'd rather be with an animal
I'd rather be... (2x)
I'd rather be with an animal

I'd rather be...
I'd rather be with...
I'd rather be with an animal
I'd rather be...
I'd rather be with...
I'd rather be with an animal

Said one, two, three, four, five against one
Five, five...five, five...five against one
One, two, three, four, five against one
Five, five...five, five...five against one
