That opened it up for Senator Kerry, Gov. Dean, General Clark, and the others. All the pundits say if Kerry loses -- ahem, if Bush swipes another one -- Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has a lock on the 2008 nomination. I think Al Gore would say, "Not so fast, senator."

In 5 days it should all be academic.
