GOP Outsourcing Fundraising
Saw this on Newsforge:

-------------

Republican Party outsources fund raising jobs to India - August 20, 2003

http://www.business-standard.com/archives/2003/jan/50310103.016.asp

The US Republican Party now has a band of young and enthusiastic fund-raisers in Noida and Gurgaon (India).

HCL eServe, the business process outsourcing arm of the Shiv Nadar-promoted HCL Technologies, has bagged a project to undertake a fund-raising campaign for the US Republican Party over the telephone.

This is the first time such a project has been handed out to a company outside the US. The market research and public relations companies engaged by the party usually undertake such projects.

India has generated considerable interest amongst global corporations looking at outsourcing key business processes...

----------------

This kind of makes me wonder if the GOP really has any authentic core membership, or are they just all on salary? Don't volunteers or interns often perform this kind of work in other political organizations?

Next time you get a call from a GOP/conservative fundraiser, ask them where they are calling from.

1. Oh, this is just plain wrong!
OUTSIDE THE US for something that's purely US-centric?

THE NEO-CONS ARE TRAITORS, PURE AND SIMPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for informing us of this! I will indeed ask them when they call. All of them. But I suppose I'll try and remain polite when they tell me they're not in the United States. :grr:

2. I swear these guys hate America
Unbelievable! And they call those of us against the war, 'traitors'. We're willing to fight for our country, and they outsource everything to save a few bucks. Why doesn't the GOP just line up all of us Americans and spit in our faces?
