Aside from how screwed up this administration is, what happened to all the money? Where's an accounting for the 8 billion given to the CPA? Why are we paying megabucks to "contractors" (CIA surrogates at Abu Ghraib)when we can't keep our OWN MEN ( INCLUDING MY NEPHEW) fed and equipped?? Who's profiting from this ill conceived war? I want someone to nail down the money trail. I think there's alot of dirt there. That's why these guys want to be re-elected so bad so they can cover it up. That's why Kerry (the prosecutor ) wants in so bad. He wants to out them for their crimes!! Look for a major shredding party by Bush if Kerry wins. They are dirty and don't want to be found out.

You're dead on -- unfortunately, the same motive for committing the crimes accounts for the ability to do or say ANYTHING to escape detection.

The Justice Dept. will be a hot assignment in a Kerry Administration, especially insider trading and public corruption.

I smell a special prosecutor investigating Cheney. Now the Dem's will need the Congress to enforce subpoenas. . . .

4. It will take a major, concerted effort

from a Democratic Congress, a strong, commited Justice Dept. and the Executive Branch leadership to pursue this.

Remember, they thwarted Iran Contra and a dozen other major thefts and scandals even when the Dems controlled Congress and had a somewhat more rational Judiciary.
