I was just wondering how much activity this site will see after the election. I'd bet it will drop to less than 1/20th what it is now within a week of the election, unless we have another Florida fiasco. Will you stick around?
Like nothing we've seen. Clinton was a mere skirmish compared to what they're going to try to do to Kerry. Besides, with all the voting issues occuring throughout the country, I don't expect to see a winner declared by Nov. 3.
Thinking that some sort of military activity might follow the election. If * can't steal it with the courts again he may have to unleash his armed dogs and stage a hot coup this time instead of a cold one.
it's been here a while and will be here for a long, long time. I guess some will leave but most of us will stay. We still have a lot of work to do. We're just gettin' started! wooooohoooo :toast:
8. I'll still be here - our work is only beginning -
with the dems in the WH & hopefully strength in the house & senate, we have a lot of work to get our country back on the right track.
Electing John Kerry is the 1st step of a long journey - I want
- fairness in media laws - an equitable FCC - a democratic house & senate - democratic statehouses - truly representative school boards - democratic dog catchers (this is negotiable) :D
Finding DU this fall has helped re-energize me politically. I firmly believe that many of us in this country who love democracy realize that we have to do more than pay some attention to the news and vote. I expect that my 25 years of sitting on the sidelines has come to an end.
