What percentage of Americans are Stuuuuuuuupid?
And what percentage do you think have their own thoughts that aren't ghostwritten by their bias media outlets?

3. I think the biggest problem is that they are terrified
They are literally too scared to think.

It is true when republicans say that 9/11 was the defining moment of Bush's presidency.

If it weren't for 9/11, that fucking asshole would been thrown out of office by now. The public would realize what an incompetent fuckup he is, and they wouldn't stand for it.

But, because of 9/11 (not going to get into my LIHOP theories here) the people of this country have been terrified completely into submission. They either trust the administration because they desperately want to and don't want to think that this whole "war on terror" is one giant lie, or they are just too lazy to go out and get their own information and to think for themselves.

5. I agree that's why I will post this in the editorial section
On September 11th,2001 I remember praying to God saying please spare the lives of anymore innocent people. Please let everyone else live. And I remember saying the same prayer during the Shock and Awe campaign. Now I see according to the AP over 1,100 people from the coalition and 11,000 plus civilian Iraqi are dead and the same prayer is of course revisited. We ARE THE GOOD GUYS. Some republicans throw this concept out the window. By invading Iraq Bush has given a sick sense of validity to anyone who has a gripe. And by doing so he not only divided a country and a world but he has created more terrorists. It is time to stop the cycle of hate and make it so we are the good guys again and get our validity back so the rest of the world will work with us to extinguish all evil. For the good of the country on Nov. 2nd vote for John Kerry.
It is because of this I consider Kristen Beitwieser a hero. Thank you for helping get rid of this miserable failure of a president and making our country safer by doing so.

You mean, I have to think up my own answer?

Actually, I think mentally lazy is a more accurate term. Let's see... I say 70% of the population.

10. 20% stupid
The 20% of movement neocons and their battered spouses are in full double speak mode.

10% of non political types who are standing there, trying to shake off the stupor.

13. I wouldn't say all B* supporters are stupid...
...just uninformed. A lot of that has to do with the buying out of all the major media outlets by a handful of corporations, making them nothing more than advertisers for the corporations themselves.

17. I once thought that... but am coming around to...
thinking that there are just some things too powerful to overcome if you are of a certain mindset (and this has been mega-harvested by the predator elite rulers).

It's not a matter of stupidity, it's a matter of how easily influenced, used and overpowered people allow themselves to be. It not a matter of hate and stupidity, it's a matter of compassion and understanding why some are more prone to be led than to lead.

We are all the same, let's not forget that.

And so are the rulers that have ruled over us since the dawn of history.
