Sinclair didn't do much, but they're getting a ton of free pr for "seeing the light." Bullshit. This is "The Hudsucker Proxy." The Smiths are buying up their self-deflated cheapo worthless stock as they laugh their way all the way to the bank.

3. My point was, I don't think it was ever going to air

Sinclair gets to look like a good guy now, listening to its viewers and the public; it never had any intention of airing Stolen Honor...Smith has maintained that from day one, and it has been on their web site from day one. They'll get even more PR for it now, and they'll still cram in as much Kerry hate speech as possible, and in the meantime, they've driven the stock down to the toilet. Remember, they sold shiploads of their stock over the summer, BEFORE making the announcement re: Stolen Honor. Now they can scarf it back up again at $6 and wait for the turnaround, and make another HUGE tax-free killing.

Don't expect the Bush DOJ or SEC to do a damn thing about it...this is one of Bush's most faithful apostles, and he's pulling a brilliant business move the Bushista regime would be proud of. Sinclair will be rewarded handsomely. Just watch.

4. They're just editing some of it out

It hasn't been kept off the air. They can't show the whole thing because of the threat of the libel suit by Vietnam vet Kenneth C. Campbell, who is shown under a voiceover that says some demonstrators weren't even vets.
