Bush: "We're not going to have any casualties."
NEW YORK (CNN) -- The founder of the U.S. Christian Coalition said Tuesday he told President George W. Bush before the invasion of Iraq that he should prepare Americans for the likelihood of casualties, but the president told him, "We're not going to have any casualties."...

Pat Robertson, an ardent Bush supporter, said he had that conversation with the president in Nashville, Tennessee, before the March 2003 invasion. He described Bush in the meeting as "the most self-assured man I've ever met in my life."

"You remember Mark Twain said, 'He looks like a contented Christian with four aces.' I mean he was just sitting there like, 'I'm on top of the world,' " Robertson said on the CNN show, "Paula Zahn Now."

1. I think this is a clear demarkation of delusion.
How can you be that optimistic? That's as crazy as the Iraqi Propaganda guy saying "we are slaughtering the Americans".

Bush has lost it.

3. Too bad Robertson can't recognize
that a "true" Christian is humble and realistic and he looks to the Divine for answers. A true Christian does not think he himself is the Divine.

The fact that there were casualties says * is most definitely not a prophet....

5. There are always casualties in war
Always. If President Bush said that he must not have been thinking clearly. I find it hard to believe he said that. I can't see it.

6. I believe it
If President Bush said that he must not have been thinking clearly. I find it hard to believe he said that. I can't see it.

We know already that he doesn't think clearly...if he thinks at all. But this would certainly explain the ban on photos of the flag-draped coffins coming home and the outrage at the idea of Nightline reading out the names of the dead.

If people can't see it, then it must not be happening.

7. hard to believe he said that?
what world have you been living in the past four years? From his "voodoo" economics to his Orwellian "clear skies" to his fake war in which we are mostly killing the civilians he says he's saving, there is nothing rational about this fraudulent imposter's rhetoric. He is the puppet tool of his PNAC masters, and too dim a bulb to even recognize it. The pathetic deluded fool thinks he's the President.
