We had an alma mater killed in Iraq in spring, he was the first member of the coast guard KIA since Nam.

7. He was the 1st KIA from our community

Just thought I'd honor him by posting his picture here.

I also will pray for his family and friends.

May he rest in peace.

Thanks...

10. I want to keep this kicked this evening

to honor this brave young man;

He was a very handsome and ambitious guy;
joining the Army to pay for college was something I may have
done myself.

In peace,

a.d.

15. Thank you for sharing.
The first thing I did this morning was watch "Going Upriver". I cried and cried over the bravery and patriotism of young men.

Tonight, the last thing I do before bed, is I cry again, for Jonathan Santos. Another brave young American.

20. R.I.P. Jonathan Santos

The men in Washington who sent him enjoy their dinners and sleep well in comfortable beds in fine homes while another young soldier lies dead.

24. Would love to.

How should I do it? I could sign a card on behalf of all of you.
Would the messages in this thread be appropriate to send, also, or too political?

Thank you so much,

a.d.
