In other words lying is probably set up so solid in the Bush family's genetic complex that George has no choice; he has to lie.

Take when Reagan was sick in his last year of office and George Bush Sr. was vice president. It stood to reason that Bush Sr. would have had a great deal of knowledge of — and influence on — issues such as Iran-Contra, the burgeoning cocaine epidemic and the ascendancy of the TV star Ollie North, who testified in front of Congress with, "It was the truth as I saw it." But during all this, Bush Sr.'s standard line, which sounds remarkably like our George, was, "I was out of the loop on that one," and, "I was out of the room when that was decided."

My theory is these answers came very easy for George Sr. because in his background is an even more grotesque lie he has been living with for a very, very long time....
