1. Where was Rep. Pappageorge of Troy?
Isn't he the one who was alarmed by all those "Detroiters" voting?

Better go look in Oakland or Macomb counties.
I'm sure L.Brooks Patterson was involved.

It's OK. The Rupes are the ones that are averse to speaking
a foreign language.

4. Found this in the Detroit Free Press:
Complaints grow of lawn sign theft in state

October 15, 2004, 5:24 AM

DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) -- The approaching presidential election has brought a surge in reports of vandalism or theft of political lawn signs, campaign officials and others say.

"It's a huge problem. I'm actually replacing more stolen signs than I'm giving out," said Yvette Robinson, director of a President Bush campaign office in this Detroit suburb.

Robinson said she fields 70-100 daily complaints from frustrated supporters whose signs have been stolen, torched, spray-painted or egged.

Dave Woodward, chairman of the Oakland County Democratic Party, said he is inundated with the same daily reports.

"One out of every four or five calls are from people who have had their signs stolen" or damaged, he told The Detroit News for a story Friday.

5. Massive problems in Allegan County. Whatever happened to free speech?
I would never take my opposing candidates sign as that negates the very thing we strive for in America. What is wrong with these people?

6. heard a funny story yesterday....
was working in the local dem county office yesterday and heard a young girl telling someone (who came in to replace a sign)that she heard someone say a lady(?) tried to have someone arrested because they put some kind on ink on their sign and when she stole it and threw it in her car the ink ruined the carpet in the car and now the resale value was lower so she called the sheriff to report her. Do they have balls or what?
