What happened to story about Rep GOTV org throwing away Dem registrations?

On NPR yesterday. Not on the evening news today. Has it disappeared already?

1. I think there was something on CBS

It was a librarian who outed the "nonpartisan" voter resistration group as run by some republican Limbaugh lookalike named Sproud (sp?), and they denied it :eyes:, and then said that Dems are doing the same in key states.

The usual.

3. And Sproul moved on to another state. Ashcroft should lose

his job over this. Isn't voter fraud a federal offense?

4. Last I heard was Terry McAuliffe wrote Gillespie

a letter telling him to fix it. I guess the private registration company has moved on to Oregon to work their magic. :(

6. I don't think that is the one. I'll go look for it in a bit, but . . . .

it was some group that was contracted by Republicans, in Co. I think, who got into a dispute about paying a couple of employees, who, when they went to the office to address the pay problem, saw staffers throwing away Democrat registrations and even pulled some of the trashed registrations out of the wastebasket.
