The Election is not Decided Yet
Some of you are taking the feel good road and expecting that Kerry has already won. Fuck that!

Four years ago, the election was stolen because it was close enough to steal. Same thing could happen this time.

This is not the time to rest. It is time for action. Early voting has begun. Get people to the polls, NOW.

The only way we can ensure that Kerry is elected is for a massive turnout that creates a landslide that the corrupted voting machines cannot overcome. A massive turnout that overwhelms the rejection of new registrations and turn aways from the polls.

Four years ago, Gore won by 500,000 votes but we see who is in office, eh? This time, our man may need to win by 5 million votes before the crooks will relinquish control.

Don't slack-off, get active; get out the vote, or you will be kicking yourself in the ass come November 3rd.

2. Yes, but a little cheerleading never hurt anyone.
Complacency = bad.

Positivity, good news & encouragement = GOOD!

3. I really think everyone has made up their mind
Now it's just the matter of getting out the vote. I think this is Kerry's election to lose at this point. We just need our people to show up at the polls.

6. I'm confident that it IS won at this stage of the game....
...especially after having watched all three debates. But your point is well-taken. No let-up until Nov. 3 should be our watchword. I think you're right.

and make sure that everyone we've persuaded to vote this year - friends, neighbors, relatives, et cetera - gets out and casts a ballot.

You're right - winning isn't enough. We've won the popular vote in the last three elections, but there's a Republican in the White House. We've got to win big enough that this election doesn't hinge on 537 votes in one state.

John Kerry's doing his part. We're doing ours. He won't stop now. Neither can we.

10. A Friday Kick
Headed off to a campaign rally for my next congressional representative.

Here's hoping a few undecideds show up so we can convince them to vote the Democratic ticket.

And hoping some pugs show their mugs so we can kick some pug ass!

11. While I agree that we shouldn't stop fighting yet...
...there is no way in hell that this election is going to be close. The polls are shit, they aren't representing anything other than what the people paying for them want them to represent. The vast majority of Americans want bush out, and this year will have record voter turnout. Kerry should win by a landslide. If he does not, it will be due to some underhanded activity by the bush camp. We need to make sure they can't steal the election this time. Make sure the votes are counted, and counted correctly. Don't use the e-voting shit, vote absentee. I've already voted. Check with your local Superviser of Elections office on how to do it in your area.

12. I got a jury summons for Nov. 3.

The defendant at the trial should I be picked, will either be innocent or guilty, depending on the outcome of the election. A bush win will result in a death penalty verdict for anything stronger than jaywalking.
