Reasons I think it will be a landslide for Kerry
1. Bush has insulted the NAACP
2. Bush has threatened the Gay people with constitutional amendment
3. Pro-choice women feel threatened
4. The Muslims in this country are not happy campers
5. Cubans forbidden to visit Cuba only once every three years
6. Young people are feeling a draft
7. Oldsters being "busted" for buying drugs from Canada
8. The backdoor draft
9. VA hospitals getting cuts in funding, can't take care of vets like
they were.
10. Outsourcing good paying jobs and the resultant unemployment

These are huge segments of the population that should be going for Kerry, not Bush. I'm sure there are some I've missed.

1. But, but, the Chimperor will keep us safe!
By all logic, Kerry (and the Democrats) should win in an historic landslide. I'm hoping logic prevails, but I'm not ready to bet on it.

2. You're right.
I'm voting against for all of the above reasons, plus many others. You're right - many of my friends fall into one of the above groups (or more), and they likely would not have voted for Kerry before. Many of us moms are very concerned about the future for our kids. We want our kids to avoid being killed in an illegal and immoral war. We want our kids to live in an America that respects civil liberties.

I also think that Shrub's confidence comes from the fact that his Rovian attack-smear-attack-smear tactics that worked well for him in the past, are tanking.

It is not becoming for an Incumbent to use that kind of low-life, cunning-only approach on a National scale. Especially with the communication and verification that has emerged on the Internets.

I think the meme is growing within that core concept. People should, and will consider the source and intent.

Without something substantial or a glowing record to run on, Buscho is overdoing the attacks strategy. That is now wearing very thin and losing the early momentum. Yet, they are still on that offensive and tossing daisy cutters. Do they even imagine that you just CAN'T fool all of the people all of the time?

4. I've thought
this since April after the torture in Iraq, that everyone would rather vote for an actual monkey instead of Bush.

Now I've got the feeling it will be even bigger with Kerry looking so good anyway.

Have been telling friends and family that I predict 55%-45%
