Aaron Brown just said tonight...
In the "Tomorrow's papers" section, that in Washington state, their newspaper headline said something about voter registration forms being threatened to be thrown out because of "fraud" - a liberal group conducted the GOTV effort and now the County is threatening to throw them out.

Here's what's happening in my County:

Seriously, is this a nation-wide coordinated Republican effort? We need to blow the whistle on this shit NOW, I am seriously about to throw something I am so angry.

8. This concerns me...
Because we need these new voters since most counties are reporting that 3/4 of them are Democrats.

The Republicans must be scared shitless of all of this new registration. They have suppressed the vote forever, and this year especially so.

3. We ALL need to blow our whistles at this stuff...
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 10:07 PM by GainesT1958
And the good news is, that is exactly what's happening in several places, from Florida to Ohio to Milwaukee to Colorado to Nevada to Oregon--and now Washington state. And we need to KEEP blowing our "whistles" on this--it IS Repub collusion on a national, "federated" scale, and they knew to do this whatever the polls showed at this stage--but ESPECIALLY if the race was still close, or Dub was trailing. Like Al Quaeda after Iraq, there won't just be Florida--or Ohio--in 2004; there will be MANY "Floridas" this time around. Hence, we've got to be ready to call them on the carpet on many fronts!

G.O.T.V. ("Get-Out-The-Vote") is our number one priority now. BUT..we have to make sure all the votes we're getting out will actually be COUNTED, as well!

:kick:

B-)

5. I tell you one thing,
with the voter disenfanchisement in 2000, if people show up to vote and aren't allowed, this nation will edge towards the brink. There will be violence most likely.

10. I couldn't agree more...
I fully expect there to be some kind of shady shit happening (it already is) and people are going to be PISSED - I predict major civil unrest. If anything goes down here, I WILL be out there protesting. I'm simply NOT taking this shit lying down again.

I lost my friend, just 19 years old, in this fucking war that he didn't support and I've had it with the bullshit, the lies, the spin, the scare tactics....I can't do this anymore. I just can't.

17. I've been putting off going back to school
or finding a permanent job (like I have a choice in a Bush job market) until after Nov 2nd.

I want to be unfettered for when the shit hits. And I grow more convinced every day that there will be BIG trouble.

11. He won't say...
All he says is that the forms he's contesting are forms gathered by ACORN and some other group, and he made special note that they favored Democrats.

AKA, they're fraudulent because they're not Republican.

15. It's the same kind of "thinking" that suggested there was

something wrong with Democratic sites such as DU urging members to vote in online polls.

"When the GOP is behind something, it's good, but when Democrats do it, it's bad. "

And then tell me if there is ANY doubt in your mind that this is a coordinated effort nationwide.

13. These threads probably need to be moved to the Election 2004
Forum--this seems to be going on in many states. I'm really getting scared about the integrity of the vote this time around. Someone at the DNC and the Kerry Campaign needs to know about this.

16. They have done the same thing in Duval County, in Broward and Palm Beach
Counties and in Miami-Dade County...That is they are talking about cancelling some of the registrations in these counties in Florida because some box was not properly checked-off and the supervisor of elections in those counties refuse to let people fix them. When on that airplane today Bush said "The America people will Decide" he knew darn well the fix is in... his daddy's thugs have rigged the elections. the bushes have a track record of fixing elections... Does anyone have confidence that this will be a clean, honest election?
