Bush's "International Criminal Court" obsession
Bush brought this (and OB/GYNs) up in both debates, does he think America knows what this is let alone to give it such import? Does he not want to be brought up for charges later? Does he even know where the Hague is? Discuss.

8. You and me both, kiddo!
I dream of seeing Smirk, Sneer, Rummy, Ashcroft, Feith, Perle, Wolfowitz, Rice, Powell, Rove, and Hughes in orange coveralls with flip-flops on their hooves feet.

2. He knows he's a war criminal
and he doesn't want Slobodan Milosevic to be his boyfriend while he waits for his trial at The Hague.

3. For once his worst fear is talking, not Karl Rove
He knows more than anyone else what "war criminal" means.

4. He may not have joined the
International Criminal Court, but he still has to answer to the Geneva Convention because we signed that and it is the law of our land.

5. Not gonna happen.
Rumsfailed Admitted to Violating Geneva Convention

Rumsfailed admitted in public on TV that when CIA Director Tenet requested that an Iraqi prisoner be sent to a secret Afghan/US Prison that Rumsfailed did so. After four months a DOD Attorney stated that this was an illegal act. Rumsfailed then ordered that this prisoner be sent back to Abu Graihib but the prisoner was purposefully not listed at that location, also an illegal act.

Rumfailed has commited at least two violations of the Geneva Convention; thereby also violations of The Constitution of the USA. Recently it has been found out that even more detainees were "ghost detainees". The fact that Rumsfailed and Tenet have not been charged speaks volumes. If Congress wishes to garner any respect they should move forward with Rep. Rangle's Impeachment Declaration of Rumsfailed and also proscecute Ex. CIA Tenet.

Does the US, Govt., Congress, and the Justice Dept no longer abide by the Geneva Convention or the Constitution of the USA?

9. The Allies didn't need an ICC to put on the Nuremerg trials
Just because the US hasn't agreed to be a party to the ICC doesn't immunize Bush/Cheney et al from arrest and prosecution. Once he's out of office, he's fair game to be arrested and then extradicted to the Hague if he travels out of the country. He will only be able to travel to countries like Argentina that protected Nazis after WWII to be safe from arrest.

10. If we are to regain respect and credibility in the world
I think it's necessary to take out the trash. I'm happy to offer up this administration as the ones to blame because I certainly didn't support any of this. I want them fairly tried for treason and war crimes. The greater the distance between Americans and the actions of the Bush administration, the easier we regain our status, respectability and credibility in the world.

Of course I also suspect that a working relationship exists between members of this administration and terrorist organizations so an additional benefit might be greater security when they are prosecuted.
