Stars Offer Reward for Dog-Drowning Arrest
The person who did this should be hung from a rope with his balls in his mouth.

BOSTON - Comedian Richard Pryor and former "Friends" star Matthew Perry are adding to the reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who drowned a golden retriever in the surf on the Massachusetts coast.

The dog, which police said had been tied up, muzzled and stuffed inside a burlap bag, was found on Sept. 21 by a person walking on the beach in Nahant, Mass.

Pryor heard about the incident through a network of fellow animal lovers, said Linda Horsley, a pet sitter from Nahant, who is helping to organize the reward efforts with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

2. So awful...
Yes, they SHOULD be hung from a rope. Then thrown in a burlap sack and tossed in the ocean. Sick fuckers.

By the way, how the hell is Richard Pryor doing these days. I know he's in pretty bad shape. MS isn't it?

3. They'd better hope I never become an NRA member...
I could SO shoot these assholes.

Awhile back someone in my state took a 5-week-old kitten and set her on fire and threw her off their balcony. She had to be put to sleep.

You can tell an awful lot about someone by how they treat animals. I think these sick, sick, sick assholes need to receive the same punishment they gave to the animals.

4. Two wrongs never make a right
However, I think they need to be locked up where they can't hurt anyone else, human or animal.

5. There is a horrific (and under-reported) amount of animal cruelty in this
country. We recently 'adopted' a third doggy that was dumped by someone out here at our lakeside community...there are many others that stroll by looking for a bite to eat but we can't really afford any more. We (and others in the area) often just shoot them because they will simply starve or get run over. It just breaks my heart how awful humans can be.

6. These sick f**kers make my skin crawl!
My partner and I adopted our newest dog "Annie" last year after some f**ktard dipped her in boiling water. She has no hair at all on her back legs and butt, and sometimes she has trouble walking. I absolutely despise these rejects from society and there is a special place in hell for each and every one of them!

7. Killing a dog should be treated EXACTLY the same as ...
killing a person ... no difference ... none ...

in that i oppose the death penalty in all cases, I suggest we tie this person up, seal him in a burlap bag, drop him in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and make him swim back to Massachusetts ...

then, if he makes it, we should lock him up for life ...

8. What kind of sick fuck do you have to be to do this to an
animal. Especially a Golden Retriever, they are so sweet and affectionate. I hope this person is rounded up and shot.

10 to 1 he's a republican.

12. I AM a golden retreiver
(Mom's away for a minute) The people who did this are no dogs, but soulless and pitiful, hellbound for sure. Pat my shiny golden head? Scratch my butt?
Bliss! Here comes Mom, got to go-
Molly the WonderDog
And now a few poems to wash the sorrow from your mind....

You gonna eat that?
You gonna eat that?

11. Tribute to a Dog, man's best friend
"The best friend a man has in this world may turn against him and become his enemy. His son and daughter that he has reared with loving care may become ungrateful. Those who are nearest and dearest to us, those whom we trust with our happiness and our good name, may become traitors to their faith. The money that a man has he may lose. It flies away from him when he may need it most. Man's reputation may be sacrificed in a moment of ill considered action. The people who are prone to fall on their knees and do us honor when success is with us may be the first to throw the stone of malice when failure settles its cloud upon our head.

"The one absolutely unselfish friend that man can have in this selfish world, the one that never deserts him, the one that never proves ungrateful or treacherous, is his DOG. A man's dog stands by him in prosperity and in poverty, in health and in sickness. He will sleep on the cold ground, where the wintry winds blow and the snow drives fiercely, if only he may be near his master's side. He will kiss the hand that has no food to offer, he will lick the wounds and sores that come in encounter with the roughness of the world. He guards the sleep of his pauper master as if he were a prince. When all other friends desert, he remains. When riches take wing and reputation falls to pieces, he is as content in his love as the sun in its journey throught the heavens. If fortune drives the master forth an outcast into the cold, friendless and homeless, the faithful dog asks no higher privilege than that of accompanying him to guard him against danger, and to fight against his enemies. When the last scene of all comes, and death takes his master in its embrace and his body is laid away in the cold ground, no matter if all other friends pursue their way, there by his graveside will the noble dog be found, his head between his paws and his eyes sad, but open in alert watchfulness, faithful and true even to death."

Gerorge Vest 1880

I do rescue work with dogs in my community. today i found two 8-10 week old pups abandoned near my property. this makes 9 dogs i have rescued in less than 4 years from ignorant assholes who drive out to the country and dump off dogs out here, and after reading of that poor lab, i am convinced that human beings are the worst creatures living.

i would gladly go to jail for beating the sons of bitches who do this, and would fight a man to the death for doing to that poor lab what he did.

it breaks my heart to hear of what happened to that poor dog. no living creature deserves that.
